Yes! We welcome all levels, and our instructors are trained to offer modifications for beginners and challenges for advanced clients.
What is the difference between
mat Pilates and reformer Pilates?
Mat Pilates and Reformer Pilates share the same core principles—strengthening, lengthening, and stabilizing the body—but they differ in execution. Mat Pilates relies on body weight for resistance, building deep core strength, flexibility, and control. It lays the foundation for proper movement patterns, making it an excellent starting point for beginners and a challenging workout for all levels.
While Reformer Pilates uses spring resistance, Mat Pilates strengthens the body in a way that translates directly to everyday movement. At Pilates Porfavor, we believe it’s the best way to build a strong foundation, improve posture, and truly connect with your body.
